Rowan Dartington hires investment director from Quilter Cheviot

Rowan Dartington has continued its hiring spree by appointing Alex Philipson as an investment manager from Quilter Cheviot.

Philipson (pictured) will be actively managing private clients' assets and will report to head of wealth Paul Field. Before spending four years as an investment director at Quilter Cheviot, he spent 13 years at Williams de Broe. He is also a non-executive director at London-based renewable energy project finance and development company Eco-Positive. Philipson's appointment follows a recent hiring spree at Rowan dartington following its acquisition by St James's Place, which has seen it add a number of new members to its equity team and create a chief investment office role for chai...
