MFS targets European wholesale distribution with new hire

Weisser joins from Standard Chartered Bank

MFS has hired Matthew Weisser from Standard Chartered Bank as managing director for Europe with the aim to develop its wholesale business across the region.

Weisser (pictured) joins MFS in a newly created role and will be responsible for managing and developing MFS' growing wholesale business across Europe.  In his previous role at Standard Chartered Bank, he led and managed the distribution team for the EMEA region. Prior to that, he spent eight years working with various regional sales teams at UBS Wealth Management.
