Ex-FCA director Adamson joins Ashmore board

Former FCA executive and director of supervision Clive Adamson has joined the board of Ashmore Group as a non-executive director.

Adamson (pictured) has joined the board with effect from 22 October, subject to regulatory approval. It was revealed at the end of last year the former FCA director was to leave the regulator, having worked for the organisation since 2007. His departure came as the FCA was preparing to release its findings from a probe into the providers of closed-life insurance policies.
