Henderson hires trio to bring American property equities in-house

Henderson Global Investors is to bring the management of its global property equity portfolios fully in-house, following the appointment of a trio of managers to its Chicago office.

The North American portions of Henderson's Horizon Global Property Equities and Horizon Pan European Property Equities funds are currently managed by Harrison Street Securities, a US-based real estate investment firm. However, the group has now hired Bob Thomas (pictured) as head of North American property equities, Greg Kuhl as portfolio manager and Mike Engels as an analyst to run these investments from its Chicago office.
