F&C REIT manager McBryde to retire

BMO hires DTZ's Lowe to take over

Ian McBryde, manager of the F&C UK Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), is set to retire after a decade in the role, to be replaced by Peter Lowe.

Lowe is joining BMO Real Estate Partners, the group managing the trust, from DTZ Investors, where he has been fund manager on a number of mandates for the past nine years. He will become lead fund manager of the trust from the end of this year, ahead of McBryde's retirement in 2016.
