Gordon to focus on Europe

Davy Asset Management has appointed former Threadneedle Investments sales director Doug Gordon to drive its European presence.

Based in Dublin, Gordon (pictured) joins the asset management arm of the Davy Group as head of European Distribution and will help the firm "establish itself as a leading presence in the European funds industry". He previously spent nine years at Threadneedle Investments where he oversaw the firms' global banks, fund managers, stockbrokers, and DFMs. He was also an investment sales manager at Morley Fund Management, now Aviva Investors.
