Polar Capital adds second European Income fund to range

Polar Capital has added a second European Income fund to its range due to investor demand for a product that excludes UK stocks.

The Polar Capital European ex-UK Income fund, launched today, will be managed by former Columbia Threadneedle manager Nick Davis (pictured) who joined Polar in September 2014. The UCITS fund is listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, has a euro base currency and share classes available in sterling and euros. The group launched a European Income fund for Davis in October last year but due to investor demand from the continent, it was decided the mandate would be pan-European, with around 30% in UK shares.
