Ex-HSBC CIO takes reins of new multi-asset strategy

Gottex Asset Management has launched a new multi-asset UCITS strategy for former HSBC Insurance CIO James Hughes.

The Multi-Asset Growth fund will invest in a broad range of assets, including equities, fixed income, real estate, infrastructure and hedge funds, with a tilt towards alternatives. Gottex is targeting returns of 7-10% a year with the fund over rolling 3-5 year periods and is launching it with an external seed investment of $50m.
