Lyxor partners with US boutique for long/short launch

Lyxor Asset Management has joined forces with boutique firm Corsair Capital Management to launch a new alternative strategy with daily liquidity.

The new US long/short equity fund, the Lyxor / Corsair Capital fund, is the firm's first product in its alternative UCITS range to offer daily liquidity. The fund will be managed by managed by Corsair's Jay Petschek and Steve Major, who head up a 12-strong team.  The strategy will invest in US equities and see to reduce risk by preserving capital in down markets and avoiding the use of leverage.
