Invesco Perpetual strengthens Read and Causer's bond team

Invesco Perpetual has promoted Asad Bhatti to join Paul Causer and Paul Read in managing the firm's high yield fund.

Bhatti has worked on the fixed interest team since joining Invesco Perpetual as a fixed credit analyst in 2002, working closely with Causer and Read (pictured) as a senior analyst.   He specialises in high yield and covering industries such as retail, consumer, travel and building materials.   He will now be a deputy fund manager on the £131m Invesco Perpetual High Yield fund, which was launched in 1999.
