HSBC's Islas joins Bordier to lead international desk

HSBC Private Bank's Roberto Islas has joined Bordier to lead its new international desk.

Islas will join the firm in March, with responsibility for establishing and expanding the firm’s new international operation. At HSBC Private Bank, Islas performed a variety of roles as a director in its private bank, and was heavily involved in the international and resident non-domiciled markets. In 2010, he was selected to head HSBC’s new Latin American desk. Prior to that he worked at the Royal Bank of Canada and Citigroup.  Bordier’s new international desk will cater for resident non-domiciled and international clients, whose needs are growing, according to the firm.
