BlackRock has hired Helen Zhu from Goldman Sachs as head of China equities for Andrew Swan's team.
Based in Hong Kong, she will begin her new role on 7 April, reporting to Swan, who heads up Asian equities for the firm, and will assume management of investment portfolios later in the year. Swan said: "Helen's appointment continues a series of senior hires adding to a talented team. The team has seen high-level performance and asset growth over the past two years, founded on a strong investment philosophy and robust process."
