M&G hands Riddell's EMD fund to new hire Calich

M&G has handed Mike Riddell's Emerging Markets Bond fund to former Invesco Perpetual manager Claudia Calich.

Calich, who was poached from Invesco earlier this year, will be lead manager on the fund, working alongside existing deputy manager Matthew Russell. M&G said the change allows Riddell (pictured), who has managed the fund since 2010, to focus on his other mandates, including the M&G International Sovereign Bond fund and the M&G Index-Linked Bond fund. Calich's fund invests in all three types of EM fixed income: US-dollar denominated debt, local currency debt and corporate bonds.
