SVG to rebrand following takeover

SVG Investment Managers is to rebrand as GVO Investment Management (GVOIM) before the end of 2013.

The name change follows the acquisition of SVG by Swiss-based investor Hansa Aktiengesellschaft in September. The new name will be used from 31 December.   SVG is a specialist UK equity manager that applies private equity techniques to public markets and has around £250m in assets under management. It currently manages the SVG UK Focus fund, which has £157m under management, and £95m Strategic Equity Capital investment trust.
