Aberdeen has closed its American Value fund after an investor decided to withdraw £20m or 62.5% of the fund total. The £32m fund was managed by Chris Bertelsen of Florida-based boutique First Albany. Investors are able to merge their holdings into the Aberdeen North American unit trust, with the unnamed £20m investor not redeeming until that rollover process is completed.
