Threadneedle is to launch a local markets fixed income fund in the first quarter of 2008, to be run by Paul Murray-John and Richard House. The pair currently run the group's Emerging Market Bond fund, which has begun investing more in local markets. The launch will invest wholly in local currency emerging market debt.
