Netherlands-based international banking group Insinger de Beaufort is to launch a multi-manager Oeic to the UK intermediary market in September.
The group, which serves both private and institutional clients in its home market, has also established a link with Canada Life. As a result investors will be able to access the three planned sub-funds direct or via the life company. Insinger already has FSA approval for the Oeic.
The group will be running a presentation for intermediaries in the UK in July.
Peter Yeo, portfolio administrator at Insinger, said: 'We saw an opportunity in the UK. It is a big market for us and we already have a presence in London. We are doing well in Holland with multi-manager and think we can continue this success.'
Insinger has a solid investment process that will enable it to compete with the existing UK multi-manager players, added Yeo.
The group runs a range of multi-manager funds, which include access to both hedge fund and long only managers. It also offers Japan and Asia ex Japan multi-manager funds.
It distributes its products in the Netherlands via intermediaries. The group currently has assets in excess of E5.2bn under management.
