Barings has hired a manager to take on its Europe Select portfolio, Nicholas Williams from Singer & Friedlander. Also joining the investment house is James Thorne, formerly of 3i, as investment manager focusing on UK smaller companies. Ailsa Craig also joins the pan-European small and mid-cap team from Insight.
