The DWS UK Blue Chip fund has its third manager in just over two years following the departure of Michael Crawford from the group. Nick Evans, who has worked at DWS for the past 19 years, has now taken responsibility for the £179m portfolio, which Nigel Ridge ran before Crawford. Crawford left DWS last week following a restructuring of the UK investment team and process. DWS takes a house view on stocks, with a team of company research analysts feeding ideas into the UK Portfolio Selection team (PST).
