A third of advisers would recommend investing in property or property funds rather than gold, technology or financial services companies according to research commissioned by fund supermarket Cofunds. The research, polling 300 advisers in July, also revealed corporate bonds are not a popular investment with advisers at present, with only 3% recommending the asset class for their clients' portfolios. Rick Andrews, marketing director of Cofunds, said: "Advisers are looking to diversify portfolios away from the more mainstream investments."
