The board of Henderson Electric & General Investment Trust is switching managers, revamping its benchmark and has offered to buy back up to half of its shares. The £263m trust has been run by Richard Carlyle for just a year. Under the proposal, the trust will lose the Henderson part of its name when it moves to managers Taube Hodson Stonex. The group currently runs £4.3bn of funds, managed collectively by Nils Taube, John Hodson, Cato Stonex, Mark Evans and Simon Edelsten.
