Investec has now merged its Dublin-domiciled Select Fund umbrella into its UK Oeic range following shareholder approval, making four additional funds available to UK investors.
The portfolios previously in the $815 umbrella are a £260m Global Equity fund managed by Adrian Brass, a £160m Global Bond portfolio run by Kieron Nutbrown and a Pan-European offering outsourced to Albert Morillo and his team at BlackRock. The last fund is Global Technology, currently under the stewardship of Pauline Nepgen.
The four funds will also be available via the Cofunds and FundsNetwork platforms from 1 November.
The group said that, in the majority of cases, investors in the existing Dublin portfolios should see very little change, with the funds maintaining the same objectives. The new funds will also keep the same charges but as a result of the cost saving from the merger, the total expense ratios (TER) will fall on the converted Oeic funds.
Commission will be the same as on the rest of Investec's range, with 3% initial and trail of 0.5% for equity funds and 0.25% for fixed income.
