Edge Group raised £21.5m for its music VCT in the most recent tax year, doubling its size in a much reduced market. Overall, the sector took in £219m over the tax year according to AIC figures, with £127m of this coming through in April. This was 18% below the £267m raised in the 2006/2007 tax year. Edge has now doubled the size of its vehicle to £40m, more than twice that of any other VCT specialising in the live music and events sector.
