Dalton Strategic Partnership (DSP) is adding an offshore mirror of its Melchior UK Opportunities fund and a pan-Asian vehicle to its range.
The Melchior Selected Trust UK Opportunities fund will launch on 2 April, due to demand from offshore clients.
The Luxembourg-domiciled Sicav has UK distributor status and will replicate the philosophy of Glenn Pratt's onshore vehicle.
UK Opportunities has returned 30.11% bid to bid since launch on 11 May 2006, compared to the UK All Companies sector average of 10.53%. It currently has £106m in assets and is expected to soft close when it reaches £200m.
Pratt is a pure contrarian stockpicker and has no constraints on the portfolio. He looks for turnaround situations, unrecognised growth stories and valuation anomalies.
Minimum investment in the vehicle is £10,000. Charges are 1.5% annual and 5% initial and initial commission is available at 3%. A performance fee of 15% is applicable if the fund beats the FTSE All-Share by 1.5% per annum.
