The period of investment on the Threadneedle European Property fund has been extended by two months until 31 May.
Investors can now log their interest in the fund until this date and then the money will be invested shortly after. The fund of funds is run by Don Jordison in partnership with CB Richard Ellis Financial Services, a property company based in Europe.
It will consist of between 20 and 30 holdings and will give investors a high level of diversification as well as access to funds that are either close or out of range.
It will target a return of 8% to 10% per annum. Jordison will invest in funds focusing on retail, office and industrial real estate. Denominated in euros, the group a Sterling hedged class is available on the Luxembourg-domiciled fund. Minimum investment is €125,000.
The AMC is 0.5% for institutional investor class and 1% for professional investor class. A performance fee of 20% of the excess over a total return of 10% is applicable.
