It is no mean feat for a fund in the crowded UK Equity Income sector to consistently outperform its peers, yet this is what managers Hugh Yarrow and Ben Peters have managed to achieve with Evenlode Income over the past six years since launch. The fund, often described as a 'hidden gem' by analysts, is ranked third out of 71 funds in the sector in terms of performance over five years, and is top quartile over nearly all time periods.
