The recovery in emerging markets (EMs) - underway since 2016 - is now being backed by improving fundamentals, with many markets showing impressive GDP growth, economic, political and technological developments and improvements in earnings.

Asia has been one of the most exciting regions as it has transformed itself from a low-cost outsourcing destination to a consumer of premium products. It is now setting the stage for future growth with rapid increases in technological prowess. The rest of the world offers ample opportunities as a result of the demand increases in Asia and we see plenty of opportunities in out-of-favour markets such as Russia.  Similarly, we are finding opportunities in Latin America.
