BlackRock’s Continental European Income fund launched in 2011, hot on the heels of the financial crisis and the near-collapse of the eurozone. However, manager Andreas Zoellinger has managed to navigate the portfolio through these rough seas. Over one and three years, the fund is firmly in the first quartile of the IMA Europe ex UK sector, beating the average return of 46% over three years to deliver 57%.
