Asset managers have spent the past three months examining the proposals flagged in the FCA's Market Study, on critical issues including governance, transparency and charges.

With the consultation period having ended, the industry now needs to prepare for change. The thrust of the industry study, laid bare across 208 pages, is to improve the experience for the end consumer, whether saver or investor.  I strongly support the intent of the FCA's interim report to improve transparency, ensure investors select value for money products and to enhance customer outcomes.
