Chancellor fires warning shots over Brexit

Apparently, if we all vote for a Brexit house prices in the UK will fall by 18%, according to the Chancellor George Osborne, which is meant to be a reason to stay in the EU.

Clearly, Osborne has not bought a home recently in the most popular parts of the UK, because 18% is around the monthly price rise. But if the value of your home is not rising by 18%, and you are looking to get on the housing ladder, then an 18% drop is a good thing for the so-called Generation Rent. I am afraid debating the housing market in this country brings out the youthful Marxist in me.
