A couple of weeks ago, I came across a new genre of internet TV called the 'Top Ten list' programme.

This kind of programming idea has made it onto mainstream television – top ten favourite rock bands and such like – but on the web there is a top ten list film for virtually everything, including 'ten most likely countries to break up and ten most groovy cities in the world'. While perusing the list of ten countries most doomed to fail, I was curious to come across Spain. The logic of this particular 'film' was that a) Spain was threatened by violent separatists in the Basque country and Catalonia, b) was bankrupt with massive unemployment, and c) likely to produce a Syriza-style revo...
