The future for platforms - and everything else in this sector actually - is all in the detail, writes platforms expert Mark Polson...

So I'm writing this from my (figurative) deckchair while on holiday in Crete - about 20 degrees, a little overcast, thanks for asking - and taking the chance to think back over 2014 so far. It's a new tax year, PS13/1 is now in force and it's too early for any honey-infused raki (simply one of the best things ever), so now's a good time to think about a uniting theme or narrative.
