Update: Schroders shareholders approve remuneration policy at AGM

The majority of Schroders shareholders have voted to approve the firm's remuneration policy at today's annual general meeting, despite facing oppositions from two shareholder advisory firms.

Some 94.7% of the shareholders at the meeting voted to approve the remuneration report, while 93.5% supported the remuneration policy. This marks around 86% as a percentage of Schroders issued ordinary share capital.
