Godber joins former Miton colleague Hamilton at Polar Capital

George Godber has joined his former co-fund manager Georgina Hamilton at Polar Capital, one year after the pair left Miton.

Hamilton joined Polar Capital in October 2016 and set up a new UK Value Opportunities fund at Polar Capital in January 2017. However, Godber (pictured) had a year-long notice period with Miton so only joined this week. The Polar Capital UK Value Opportunities fund has £169m at the end of 31 March. The fund has a multi-cap approach and seeks to uncover stocks trading at a discount to their intrinsic value.
