Henderson and Schroder trusts join 'next generation of dividend heroes'

Ten years of increasing dividends

Henderson's £276m European Focus trust and Schroders' £588m Oriental Income are the latest to join the Association of Investment Companies (AIC)'s list of "next generation of dividend heroes", having both reached ten years of consecutive dividend increases.

They join sixteen other names, including Standard Life Equity Income and Witan Pacific, which have been increasing their dividend every year for the last 16 and 12 years respectively. The list is made up of investment companies which have been consistently increasing dividends for under 19 but over ten years, following in the footsteps of the 'dividend heroes' that have increased their dividend every year for over 20 years.
