Henderson's Thompson and Wagstaff to resign from board

Will remain in business roles at firm

Henderson Global Investors' Roger Thompson and Philip Wagstaff will resign from the Henderson group board on completion of the merger with US-based Janus Capital.

Henderson announced the senior figures will step down from the board, but will continue in their respective roles as chief financial officer and global head of distribution within the combined group. Thompson and Wagstaff (pictured) will become members of the new executive committee following the merger.
