MSCI launches two indices for WMA as provider replaces FTSE UK

MSCI has created property and alternatives indices for the Wealth Management Association (WMA) as it prepares to take over from previous index provider, FTSE UK, on 1 March.

The WMA announced last September it had appointed MSCI to run its Private Investor Index Series, ending a 20-year relationship with FTSE UK. At the time, the organisation said it was "exploring options" with MSCI for additional new indices to sit alongside equity and fixed income options.  MSCI has since confirmed it has created alternatives and real estate indices for the WMA as it prepares to take over from FTSE.
