Miton Global Opportunities trust overhaul boosts performance

Miton's £60m Global Opportunities trust, managed by Nick Greenwood, has seen its discount narrow significantly since the board introduced a number of changes 12 months ago.

The trust has grown in size from £50m to £60m, with performance strong against its sector average and benchmark over the period. Alongside a name change (from the Worldwide Growth trust) to better reflect its investment approach and a move into the AIC's Flexible Investment sector last year, the board of Miton Global Opportunities hired Frostrow Capital to provide distribution, marketing, secretarial and account services.
