Franklin Templeton expands liquid alternatives range with credit fund

Franklin Templeton Investments is set to launch a long/short credit fund in the UK, which will be sub-advised by a number of hedged fixed income managers.

The FTIF Franklin Templeton K2 Long Short Credit fund is the third liquid alternatives offering in the FTIF range and will be publicly launched in Luxembourg on 16 December, with plans to register with the Financial Conduct Authority for UK investors after that. It will invest across a range of strategies such as alternative fixed income and credit, which will be sub-advised by hedged fixed income managers, selected by the funds investment management team.
