IA recommends executive pay changes for FTSE 350 companies

The Investment Association has urged FTSE 350 companies to reconsider their remuneration structures following recommendations made by its working group on executive pay.

In an open letter to the remuneration commitees of all FTSE 350 companies, the IA highlighted the issues its members will be considering during AGM season. These included the levels of remuneration, bonus disclosures, policy renewals, use of discretion and pensions.  The letter said: "The level of remuneration awarded to executive directors continues to be an area of particular concern for members, as well as society as a whole, with the current economic and political climate also contributing to the level of scrutiny.  "In particular, members believe that any salary increases or i...
