M&G's Felton to depart after 11 years

Fund to be handed to Sam Ford

M&G UK equity manager Mike Felton is to leave the firm after 11 years in January, with Sam Ford taking over his UK Select fund.

Felton (pictured) joined M&G in 2005 from Foreign & Colonial as head of UK equities and manager of the M&G UK Capital fund, which later became the £598m UK Select fund. Ford, who has worked at M&G since 2014, will take over the fund from 1 January 2017, subject to internal approval. He is currently deputy fund manager on M&G's Dividend, Extra Income and Pan European Dividend funds.
