Apollo's Hughes exits for AJ Bell to head up fund selection

AJ Bell Investments has appointed Ryan Hughes, multi-asset fund manager at Apollo, as head of fund selection.

Hughes (pictured) will join the team responsible for running AJ Bell's recently launched managed portfolio service for financial advisers. In addition, he will focus on expanding the investment solutions offered by AJ Bell Investments, the investment management business that was created earlier this year following the company's acquisitions of Indexx Markets and Mansard Capital.
