Revealed: The top (and bottom) investment trusts since Brexit vote

JPMorgan trusts leading the winners

Investment trusts most highly exposed to emerging markets have been the best performers since the EU referendum on 23 June, while technology and biotech trusts have also rallied after a weak start to the year.

Figures from Numis show the winners among FTSE All Share listed trusts were those invested in Asia or emerging markets, as sentiment improved towards these regions while investors sought alternatives to UK and European markets following the Brexit vote. J. P. Morgan Asset Management led the way with four of its emerging market trusts at the top of the table. The £148m JPMorgan Chinese trust was the best overall performer with a total return in share price terms of 30.7% from 23 June to 5 September.
