Amundi hires Unigestion investment director as head of smart beta

Amundi has poached Unigestion's investment director Bruno Taillardat for the newly-created role of head of smart beta.

He will be based in Paris and report to Laurent Trottier, Amundi's global head of ETF, indexing, and smart beta management. Amundi said the appointment underlines its commitment to smart beta strategies, which cover both factor investing and alternative weighting schemes.
