Update: EM managers Young and Asante replaced in SJP's fund range reshuffle

As firm reports 'record' inflows for Q2

St. James's Place has made a number of changes to its range of funds, including swapping Aberdeen's Hugh Young for First State's Martin Lau on its Far East fund, and replacing Jonathan Asante on two portfolios.

The wealth manager has decided to rename its Far East fund as Asia Pacific, which will see its exposure to Japanese equities reduced and greater flexibility to invest in the broader Asia Pacific region. The fund will be managed by First State Stewart Asia's Lau and Alistair Thompson, taking over from Aberdeen's Young. At the same time, Asante of Stewart Investors will be replaced on the Worldwide Opportunities fund by Artisan Partners' Jim Hamel, and on the Global Emerging Markets fund - which will reopen to new cashflows - by Henderson's Glen Finegan.
