Aviva Investors extends EM team with ex-Schroders hire

Aviva Investors has appointed former Schroders analyst Bryony Deuchars as a fund manager in its growing emerging markets equities team.

In her new role, Deuchars (pictured) will be primarily focused on idea generation and portfolio management for the group's $942m Emerging Markets Equity Income and $124m Emerging Markets Equity Small Cap funds, both managed by Will Ballard. She will be based in London and report to Ballard, head of emerging market and Asia Pacific equities. Deuchars joins from Schroders, where she was a senior equity analyst, covering emerging markets.
