SyndicateRoom launches EIS tracker product

Crowdfunding platform SyndicateRoom has launched an EIS tracker fund set to "challenge the traditional EIS fund management industry".

Fund Twenty8 is designed to bring a diversified portfolio approach to investment in early stage companies, offering access to at least 28 investments across multiple sectors. According to the group, this compares to traditional EIS funds which generally invest in between five and ten investments and focus on a specific sector. Investments are sourced, structured and invested in by business angels, venture capitalists and other lead investors.
