Update: AXA IM hands UK small-cap fund to Harlow after Lowson exits

Henry Lowson, manager of the £274m AXA Framlington UK Smaller Companies fund, has left the company leading to the re-appointment of Dan Harlow as manager.

Lowson (pictured), who was included among Investment Week's top managers under 35 in November last year, joined AXA Investment Managers as a UK equity analyst and trainee fund manager in January 2005. He took over a manager of the AXA Framlington UK Smaller Companies fund in May 2012 but left the group last week, Investment Week understands.
