Bill O'Neill, head of UK investment office at UBS Wealth Management, is to retire from his role at the end of July, passing on his responsibilities to Geoffrey Yu.
O'Neill (pictured) joined UBS in February 2013, with over 30 years' experience in investment management and strategy. He began his career with the Irish government stockbroker in 1981, and first moved into the wealth management arena in 2005. After over three years at UBS, O'Neill will be taking a step back from the City to focus on educational training. Yu, who will become the new head of investment office UK, has spent his whole career with UBS, and transferred into wealth management from the investment bank at the start of the year.
