Miton appoints ex-Edentree manager to replace Godber and Hamilton

Miton Group has appointed Andrew Jackson, previously at EdenTree Investment Management, to take over its UK Value Opportunities fund following the departures of George Godber and Georgina Hamilton.

Godber (pictured) and Hamilton announced in April they were leaving the firm to join Polar Capital, after three years in their roles. The are currently serving their notice at Miton before leaving to join their new firm.  Jackson will join Miton on 27 June, having previously worked at Ecclesiastical Investment Management (now EdenTree Investment Management) from November 2003 until his departure in July 2015. During this time Jackson managed the Ecclesiastical (now EdenTree) UK Equity Growth fund, which returned 77.9% over three years to 7 July 2015, versus the the IA UK All Companies...
